11 things to do when your under quarantine
Hey guys! So I know that there’s a sickness going round that has caused a-lot of people staying home in their house. I just came back from vacation so me and my family have to stay under quarantine for 2 weeks. So I thought I would put together a list for you guys with things to do under quarantine!
1.STRETCH OR EXERCISE
You know that video on YouTube in your “watch later” about getting the splits? Well, it’s time to put it to use, when's a better time then when you are stuck at home doing nothing? But of course, if you are feeling sick maybe lay off the hard work and try this next one.
2. DO A PUZZLE
Dust off that old puzzle that’s been laying on your coffee table for a year unopened and put aside that excuse of “There’s probably pieces missing” and put it all together!
3.LISTEN TO A PODCAST OR AN AUDIOBOOK
I love listening to podcasts like, “Dear Hank And John” and audiobooks, like “Harry Potter” or “Anne Of Green Gables” it’s like reading a book without reading!
4.KNIT...SEW...WHATEVER YOU KNOW!
It’s time to pull out those knitting needles and felting supplies and start that project that you’ve said you’d do since you saw it on Pinterest a year ago. Here’s a pattern for scrunchies if ya want! https://sofunzelmermaid.blogspot.com/2019/09/diy-scrunchies.html
5.CLEAN YOUR ROOM/CLOSET/HOUSE
You know how you keep putting off cleaning your room? Well now’s the time! If you're having a hard time getting rid of stuff, try the “KonMarie Method” we have been using her technique for years and it’s amazing! There is a Netflix show called “Tidying Up With Marie Kondo” and she also has a book with more detail about her work! I’d definitely recommend it!
6. DO SOME BAKING
Nothing is better than sitting on your couch and watching t-v with a plate filled with cookies next to you.
7.READ A BOOK
We all have a list in our heads of all the books you what to read, so nows the time to get out your books and get reading! I recommend the “Harry Potter” books if you haven’t already read them. There’s also “Anne Of Green Gables” ”Wonder” and “The Time-Traveling Fashionista” all fantastic reads!
8.PLAY SOME MUSIC
Grab your guitar, piano, trumpet, drums, or karaoke machine, and learn that song you’ve always wanted to learn!
9.TAKE AN ONLINE COURSE
There are so many things you can learn online from doodling to dance, there’s a course out there for you! “Outscool” is a really good website for homeschooled kids ages 6+, and they offer a variety of classes!
10.PLAY A GAME
Playing a game with your family is super fun and there are so many fun games like “Uno” and “Dutch Blitz” and there are even some games you can play on your own like “Solitaire”
11.LEARN A NEW SKILL
Juggling, writing a book, guitar. There are so many things that you can do! A trick like juggling takes time, and I mean what else can you do in quarantine? Check out me and my friend's YouTube channel for fun circus tutorials! http://youtu.be/HjToEz3LCSA

ReplyDeleteGood ideas Sofia! Another good one is learning a new language. Language is so important and can makes things so much easier when traveling and visiting countries...Spanish, French & Italian are good ones to know, in my opinion ;)
ReplyDeleteOkay, in two days it will be two years since this post - time for some updates!
