Goodbey Anne

Image
If you have followed the CBC/ Netflix series Anne with an E for the past 3 years you will know that the version of the classic Anne of Green Gables is a  darker modernized  version but none the less will transport you to the beloved story. All three seasons I have laght cried and felt the magic! But sadly " We have reached the end of the red Green Gables road after 3 wonderful seasons." Said Moria Walley-Beckett writer/Exec Producer Anne with an E . So for this blog post I would like to say thank you to Anne with an E for being a show that I could watch with my whole family talk about with my friends and feel it in my heart. And if you ever come back with a 4 season I will dey my hair green (; (;

How to get into the christmas spirit

Image
Hello! I know it may be a bit early to some, and it kinda is for me, too but its time to start talking about Christmas! Now I know that some of you may really want to be in the Christmas spirit but can't really get in the spirit so here are some ideas that helped me! Enjoy (: (: 1: The simple things Sometimes all you have to do to get into the Christmas spirit are the easiest things including: -Putting up a Christmas tree (if not in your living room in your own room) -Bake Christmas cookies -Have some Hot Chocolate or Christmas tea -Put on a Santa hat (like I say the little things) -Create a Christmas list, not only for yourself but for others too -Listen to some Christmas music -Wrap some gifts  2: A festive Aroma To me, a big part of feeling a certain energy is to smell it, And a diffuser blend is just the thing! Here's my favorite holiday blend and a little extra surprise for those without diffusers or these oils. Sugarplum fairy 4 drops peppermint  4 drop...

I am happy to say that once again I will be participating in the Veressent Life Youth Artisan Craft Sale! Last spring I took part in the first-ever craft sale, meant for kids who loved creating. This year I'm so happy that its a Christmas sale as that my favorite time of year! I'll be making Christmas fairies for you to hang on your tree or give as gifts! I hope to see you all there!

Goecaching at the Terry Fox monument

Image
Each Monday we go geocaching with our homeschooling friends. We go to a new location each week, and discover new caches and new ideas for places to hide caches we make! Currently, we are working on a Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, and hopefully a Chronicle of Narnia the Magician's Nephew multi-cache! Anyhoo, we went to the Terry Fox monument which I have never been to.  The lookout was beautiful and the weather nice at first, for an early November afternoon. We set out for our first cache! On our way there we came across a tunnel that made its way under a road, of course, all us kids just had to run threw it! The first find was a good one, a container disguised as a tree, and we found some cool loot. But the thing with our club is we bearly ever take any and leave TONS! We kept walking threw the long grass while the weather got worse and worse when we realized the cache we were looking for was up a cliff! So, two others and I others found a small trail going uphill, half r...

Happy Halloween!

Image
This year for Halloween my friend and I, "Bear Hugger" went trick or treating together as Christmas Carolers! I already had a green cloak so we thought we could make Bear Hugger a red one. Her cloak ended up being soo fluffy that I got a bonnet. There's no saying which ones better because you need both us for the full effect! After Tech Club at the library, Bear Hugger and I went over to her Mammas to show her our costumes. When we got back home we made some pizza toast and got our costumes ready! After dinner, my Grandma and Grandpa came over to see our costumes as well! Then we got our costumes on, curled our hair (kinda the curling iron was acting weird and by the end of the day we had strait hair again ) Then we set out carrying are burlap and red satin trick or treat bags! Bear Hugger and I had prepared some "spooky" Christmas carols, and we got tons of extra candy! When we got back Bear Hugger and I decided to try and trick my parents by sneaking through...
