I got my Daith Pierced!

Hello! I hope you're all doing well (: So, for a long time now I have been thinking about getting a Daith piercing. The Daith is a piece of cartilage inside the ear, and supposedly has a pressure point to help with migraines, anxiety and more! So because I suffer from migraines, I thought I would try it out! I have been saving up all year, and finally went to the piercers. I went with my Mermaid friend Viktoria from Superior Mermaids, and our New Zealand exchange student who both wanted to get piercings. Viktoria got both her Daiths pierced and Kate got her ear lobes re-pieced. When we arrived, we signed some papers and chose the earings we wanted, I chose just plain silver with an opal gem! I was the first to go, being the most scared. I laid down and the piercer talked us through the process. After cleaning my ear, she told me to take a deep breath in and on the exhale she pulled the needle through. On a scale from 1-10 I'd say it was a 6, I mean it hurt but I was holding my Mom's hand and once it was over I was fine! What the piercer did was take a hook-shaped needle and put it through a tube on the other side, then leaving the needle in, she connected the ring to it and pulled it through, then she adjusted the ring, added the opal and it was done! Overall I am very happy with it. It has only been 2 days so I can't tell what it has done for my migraines but I'll fill you in soon (:
Thank you to Creations Body Piercings I had a good experience.
