Candy cane bark!

 So today my mom, brother and I started making some of our favorite Christmas bark, for a Christmas cookie swap! The first part of our tradition is digging out the ripped out page of a magazine labeled 2003 LCBO Food and Drink magazine https://www.lcbo.com/lcbo/recipe/peppermint-bark/200306040#.XfKqfdVKFz8, from our Christmas box deep in the basement! After that, we began weighing and measuring the dark chocolate! Then after it's melted in a double boiler drop some peppermint oil in, then spread it out on a tray, leave it out in the freezing front porch to freeze in -20. Then after an hour we took it in and melted the white chocolate added peppermint then spread it over top, added crushed candy cane let it freeze then voila! I love this colorful chocolaty sweet, and making it with my family is all the sweeter!!!
