Goecaching at the Terry Fox monument

Each Monday we go geocaching with our homeschooling friends. We go to a new location each week, and discover new caches and new ideas for places to hide caches we make! Currently, we are working on a Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, and hopefully a Chronicle of Narnia the Magician's Nephew multi-cache! Anyhoo, we went to the Terry Fox monument which I have never been to.  The lookout was beautiful and the weather nice at first, for an early November afternoon. We set out for our first cache! On our way there we came across a tunnel that made its way under a road, of course, all us kids just had to run threw it! The first find was a good one, a container disguised as a tree, and we found some cool loot. But the thing with our club is we bearly ever take any and leave TONS! We kept walking threw the long grass while the weather got worse and worse when we realized the cache we were looking for was up a cliff! So, two others and I others found a small trail going uphill, half rock climbing half tree climbing we finally made it up to the top! The cache was a good one in size but the view was so much cooler we could see the Sleeping Giant amazingly! I also found a Thunder Bay rock shaped and painted like a cardinal bird head, so I piled some rocks and make it a "rock" bird. Which, if you look carefully you can sorta see from the high way! So that was the 50th cache that we found! At the end of the day, we were all cold and wet from the snow, now thickly falling. I hope your treasure hunting adventures are just as fun!

P.S: Super big thanks to Mermaid Viktoria for swimming with me again and creating this video for me!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3xX4KJH5v8
